We would like to welcome Nick York to our New Diana ISD family.

Coach York will be the Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks coach in Football. He is married to Jennifer York and they have two children; Grainger (5) Georgia (2).  Coach York enjoys being with his family and playing with his kids in his leisure time.. 

Coach York brings 9 years in educational experience to New Diana ISD.  Coach York began his career with 2 years in Pewitt ISD coaching the Offensive line/Defensive Line.  Pewitt was a 4-7 Bi-District contender in 2012 and a 7-4 Bi-District contender in 2013.  He spent the next 4 years in Celina ISD where he was the Wide Receivers coach in 2014-2015 before being promoted to the Assistant Offensive Coordinator/Passing Game Coordinator/Receivers coach in 2015-2016.  Celina was a 12-3 State Semi-Finalist, 15-1 State Finalist, and an 11-3 Regional Finalist respectively.  In 2017, Coach York spent the year at his old stomping grounds in Gilmer ISD where he was the Receivers coach. Gilmer had a 10-3 record and went on to a Regional Semifinalist appearance.  Coach York then served 2018 in Anna ISD, coaching the receivers and Anna had a 5-5 record.  He returned to Pewitt ISD for a second stint in 2019, serving as the Quarterbacks coach.  Pewitt went on to a 14-2 State Finalist appearance this past season.   

Coach York attended Oklahoma State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education degree with a specialization in Social Studies.  Coach York played high school ball in Gilmer and graduated in 2004. He states, “I have always had a tremendous amount of respect for New Diana ISD, and I am very excited to become an Eagle”!
