Our goal at New Diana ISD is to provide your child with the best education possible while maintaining their safety, promoting their health, and preventing the spread of illness.

Medications at school:

  • All prescription and non-prescription medications need to have a medication administration form signed by the physician and parent.
  • All prescription and non-prescription medication need to be administered through the nurse’s office.
  • All prescription and non-prescription medication must be in original and properly labeled container.

Immunization Requirements

The Texas Board of Health Services requires that all children enter, attending, and/or transferring to child-care facilities or public primary or secondary schools be immunized against vaccine preventable diseases caused by infectious agents. A child or student must show acceptable evidence of vaccination prior to entry, or a valid medical or conscientious exemption. The school nurse or school administrator shall review the immunization status of each student or child to ensure compliance with this law. If the student is not in compliance, the school is required to exclude or deny enrollment of the student from school attendance until the required dose is administered.
